Preaching Today...

Today I am doing a 2 part series called; "Demoting Jesus" "Common objections to the Deity of Christ."
Augustine said; "Christ is not valued at all unless He is valued above all." Unfortunately many religious groups, including the so-called "Jehovah's Witnesses" deny that Jesus is God. John 1:1 clearly tells us that He is, and a thorough study of the New Testament reveals that this has always been the case.
When studying with people who deny the Deity of Christ you will often hear many of the same objections. My sermons today aim answer those questions biblically in an effort to better understand our Lord.

Some of the objections I address include:
Wasn't Jesus; "begotten?"
Does "firstborn" mean "born first?"
If God can't be tempted, and Jesus was tempted, doesn't that mean Jesus isn't God?
The Subjection of the Son
How Could Jesus be Omniscient if He didn't know the date of the Second Coming?
And other objections...
